Here’s proof that Galaxy S25 Edge uses 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite version

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with the 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, as confirmed by its appearance in Geekbench's database. This model, identified by the code SM-S937B, features 12GB of RAM and operates on Android 15 (One UI 7.0). The processor's two prime CPU cores are clocked at 4.47GHz, while the six performance cores run at 3.53GHz, matching the specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Elite used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In terms of performance, the Galaxy S25 Edge achieved scores of 2,806 in the single-core CPU test and 8,416 in the multi-core CPU test on Geekbench 6. These results are slightly lower than those of the Galaxy S25 Plus, which scored 3,132 and 9,935, respectively. This discrepancy may be due to the Edge's slimmer design, which could affect thermal management and, consequently, performance.

Despite these minor differences, the Galaxy S25 Edge's use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor ensures robust performance, aligning it with other models in the Galaxy S25 series.
